What kinds of activies can you expect at Baron Wars?

To start, you can find Heavy Weapons activities,
both melee and several tournaments at Baron Wars. Cap'n Craidd
also has a great deal of tantilizing rapier / fencing actiivities
planned, some centered around a very pirate-y theme. Arrrrr!
In addition, there will also be Archery, Thrown Weapons and Siege
Weapon Activities available. We also have Equestrian events at
Baron Wars, which really help to set the medieval feel of the
weekend.
The youth will also have a great deal to do, as there is Youth
Rapier, Youth Boffer and Youth Pointe. Youth Pointe is host to
classes that will help educate and entertain the young ones running
about.
Baron Wars also has a multitude of classes available as well as
Arts & Sciences and Bardic Competitions. There will also be hound
coursing early Saturday morn for those dog lovers.

Another treat at Baron Wars is the shopping. Shopping at
Baron Wars is unequaled at an event afore the great Pennsic
War. View the long and diverse list of merchants that will
be attending under the Merchant link above. |
In the evenings, Baron Wars has two Bardic Fires
available. One Bardic Fire is set in the quieter area of the
Fort and allows for great tales of travels and battles while
the other Bardic Fire is a little louder and more rambunctious,
including dancing and drumming. Romantic wanderings around the
moonlight Fort are also an attraction to the event for some.

More
detailed details will be posted later on as we know exactly what’s
what. But one might think about circling the calendar right now
since we’re
so happy to be back at the Fort we could just bust… and
so we hope to make this the best Baron Wars for all of you out
there that ever has been! So shake out last year’s dust
from the gear, change the oil in the SCAdian transport vehicle,
and c’mon over/up/down for a fine weekend
of Fun, Fighting & Merriment!
